Default New V & H Big shots on, now I need help....

I have my new V & H Big Shots Long on my 06 Deluxe and now I need to buy or find the right brackets to put my Harley passenger floorboards back on..... The brackets that come with the floorboards do not fit and I can't figure a way to make any sense of the existing holes in the frame to bolt any kind of configuration up that will work. I have heard I need to go with the Heritage brackets???? What do I do? Thanks for the help and MAN do these pipes sound good!!!!

Took the following from another post...Hope it helps....

Rear floorboards don't cost $500 but they will be over $300. Since you have removed the stock pipes you will need to put on Heirtage floorboard brackets, which are $137 and then buy the actual chrome floorboards with rubber insert to go on the brackets. Maybe another $189 or so.

I had the floorboards on my stock pipe Deluxe then had to buy new heirtage brackets when I went with the V&H pipes. So I have one that will fit your bike that I will sell for half price. $35 you pay shipping of $10. The other one I have is for use with the Deluxe stock pipes and won't work for you.

The Heirtage brackets are the same as the bracket that is used for a stock deluxe on the non pipe side. But the pipe side stock deluxe bracket fits on the big muffler bracket that you discard when you change out pipes.

Might try a motorcycle salvage yard to see if you can find another heirtage bracket and you will save a good chunk of bucks.

Jon

Remember your passenger bracket that is on the non-pipe side works fine. You now need a Heirtage bracket that is just like the one on the non-pipe side to put on the pipe side. It will bolt directly to the frame.

See me dude I have your part for sale, cheap! I had to buy an extra heirtage set so I have one remaining that I will sell. Will save you a ton.

I found the parts! If you have installed passenger floorboards and have changed your exhaust, chances are you will need the following parts to re-install your floorboard on the "exhaust" side. H-D part #50481-00 (mount) and part #52713-95A (support). Cost is about $75 for the two pieces, but they will match perfectly on both sides and clear the exhaust nicely. At least on the V & H Big Shot pipes and I'm sure on many others, too. Good luck.
