Default New Heartland sidemount plate with PICS

Here are a few snaps or my Heartland side mount plate. I am still waiting on the light, but the plate is on. I like it. I have been wanting one of these for a very long time and finally got the cash together. I did have to trim the edges on teh palte to get int in the mount, but it is done. Drew

Drew, did you see my thread about getting a ticket for that same side mount plate?
I ended up swapping for the swingarm mount plate.
I doubt you will be as unlucky as me and get a ticket, though.
Really looks good!

welcome to the club. That was one of my first mods and I did a write up on it somewhere around here. When you want to run a light with cameras just kick the plate in and go.

Looks good Drew. I, too, have read that guys are getting tickets from having their plates to far from the back of the tire making it difficult to see them when a cop is in the right lane behind you. But that may have just been the thread Micahpop just referred too. I went with the Roto-Plate and axle mount as it places the license the farthest back that I have seen while still being a side mount. Anyways, looks killer man.

Well, I just redid it with the mount on the inside of where the foot peg mounts instead. It is much better. I need a bolt that is a little longer to get the nut on, but it is done for today. I think the bolt is 2 1/4" so I need a 2 1/2". Off to ACE hardware one of these days. The lift is the Harbor Freight jack. Here is the new pic.

I put the plate mount on the inside too. You can use the passenger peg bolt and cut it down.
