So I quit acting like a vagina and went outside last night to put my pipes on. It was pretty easy after I got all the bolts taken off. The torx bolt holding the passenger peg on was a real snag since nobody in San Antonio has long torx bits to fit so we used a screwdriver since it wasn't even on tight. Took about 2 hours taking a few smoke/beer breaks and run for torx bits.
The sound is unreal although I haven't gotten on it much since it was about 9 pm when I finally finished up the heat shields and I didn't want to wake up the base. I love it! Thanks DrVtwin!
PIPES lOOK GOOD MAN...DIG THE HELMET GOT ONE JUST LIKE IT AND THE PAINT IS MELTING OFF THE TOP OF IT...HARLEY SAYS TUFF ****...WONT EVER SPEND ANOTHER PENNY THERE..!!!
Good lookin bike and pipes. i bet they'll sound sweet at WOT. i can't decide which pipes i want. i have other issues to fix first though that are more important.
The black denim paint is the best thing since velcro! Great lookin ride man. I love the fact that you don't have to spend thousands of $ on chrome. A few additions and you can concentrate on performance.
I have the same pipes on my 09 Rocker, the sound is amazing!
btw, the Big Radius pipes were a lot easier to put on then my 2 into 1 V&H Pro Chromes on my 2010 street glide. Those just didnt seem to go together as well.
