No need for fuel management unless y9ou change the air filter. Put the slip ons on and ride.

if you have not changed your A/C then no need to change anything.
If you change your A/C to a high air flow one (Screaming Eagle or such) then you will need to.

My bet is that you will continue to hear conflicting stories, there is no "right" answer.

Bottom line is that these bikes are tuned pretty lean from the factory, and IMHO, anything you do that changes the airflow (either out or in), could have an effect, and possibly lean the bike out more. Significantly? Doubt it. Dangerously? Not likely. Beyond the point of the stock ECM and O2 sensors to adjust? I don't know for sure, probably not.

My opinion follows the first two responses. I did not add any fuel management to my Deluxe when I just added SE slip ons.

If you can swing it, a Power Commander will help the bike run better and it's an investment, because you can add new tunes as you modify the bike more (new A/C, full exhaust, cam, etc...) whether you get a canned one from the net, a custom one from an online tuner, or go have it dyno'ed locally.

Just my $0.02.

Well said plutnicki. Our 2.00 baffle with stock air cleaner keeps enough back pressure for the stock ECM and O2 sensors to adjust back to stock settings (still pretty lean). However, you will not get the full performance gains from our exhaust without dyno tuning. If all you are looking for is sound, you'll be fine without. The 2.25 baffle is too free flowing, you'll need a fuel management system for that baffle size.
Offically we recommend using a fuel management system anytime any exhaust or intake changes are made, the bike will run better and it is a good investment to make sure your bike is operating properly.

unplug the 02 sensors and replace with a 330 ohm resistor and ride cooler
