RE: Engine running hot
Has anyone tried these Fuel Injection Modules on a stock bike for engine heat? 2006 FXSTI Also posted in another section with out much result.
Terry Comp TVII - ? Splicing and warranty issues for sure.
Would Perfer a module the doesn't require splicing and if I can get away without a dyno that would be great.
Arlen Ness Big Shot - does not require splicing
Cobra FI2000(R) - does not require splicing
Powercomander III Dyno required??
Schedule - Stock bike, pipes after break-in or later, not sure I will ever do the air cleaner. That's it for performance mods.
Thanks

RE: Engine running hot
I installed the Powercommander III usb first thing..before I changed pipes, A/C or anything else. It did lower my temps some and I'm sure I could have lowered them even more if I tuned the bike. I waited until I had the A/C and exhaust before I really started working with the tuning. Just installing the PCIII you can lower temps. You do not have to have a dyno to install the PCIII correctly. If you really wanted to get 100% out of your install I'm sure a Dyno would help but just every day driving you can install a PCIII and use the stock maps to get your bike running right.
