Would it be most peoples opinions that Samson are the better option rather than V&H

I plan to get some in the next couple of months so really would like some opinions as to which way to go

With the Duals, and having 2up, any heat issues for the passenger on the leftside?

 

I prefer the Samsons but that is me. Ijust added the 39 inch cholo mufflers and like em alot. no heat issue to speak of and I'm 5'9".My girl is 5'10" and no issues with her either.

 

I'm 5'4" and when I stop I just lift my left heel a little and the pipes are not a problem. I can still be flat footed if I want and I will get warm but not fried.

I totally agree with you Joe. I already had that problem twice. I had single wall duals from one shitty brand on it when i bought the bike. I changed the yesterday for Big Shots Staggered. It also changed my seating position, because i have now more room for my left calf. Also keep in mind that when you have duals it is harder too fined bags that will fit.

 

Wow I disagree with this statement.

With duals you can run any bag you want and do not have to worry about them being to big. This is why guys who want to run roadking or ultra bags on softails go with duals. The only bag that may be an issue is a solo bag built for the left side but with some of the smart cookies on this forum they have already built jigs to address this issue.

 

He Big Sea Daddy, what are those bars on your bike? I am looking for a new set of bars to replace the 08 stock. I have to reach to much..thanks
