Default Diamon Black Grips (End Caps!)

So, i got me a pair of diamond black grips and installed them, i was happier than a pig in crap so i went out for a ride, only to discover that the end cap on the right side fell off!!! i followed all of the instruction and nowhere did i read anything about glueing or something of the sort..

so, two questions:

*. do you guys normaly glue them?
*. i can't find a replacement end cap for these online, anybody wants to sell me one?

I believe they just snap on. A buddy of mine lost the one on his left side, I check mine all the time. Look at the instruction sheet and see if there is a P/N listed for the end cap. If so, put it in the Chicago HD search engine.....

yep P/N 56464-08, MSRP $9.95, $7.96 at Chicago HD

Run a small bead of clear silicone around the part of the end cap that snaps into the grip. Level off the HD logo and don't touch until the silicone sets up.

I am on my second set in a month...the worst part of the deal is that I have had to pay $31.95 AUD both times. Even 10.00 US woudl be nice. Wish I lived in the States. Or Harley Davidson moved to Australia.

I guess that I have been lucky. I've had mine for a year with no glue and no problems.
