Default Pics of raked softails! Please put them up!

Hey guys I am thinking of going with some 5* raked trees on my FXST and was wondering if you guys had any pics of different rakes on your bikes. Don't care what style of bike or rake it is. And yes I know the safety consiquences. I have read every thread on this site about rake and trail and will not chop and extend my frame. Thanks!

It looks like you have an 03 FXST Silver. Congrats! They are discontinuing them this year.

Did you know your bike is already raked at the neck. It's either the trees or the neck cups. Probably the trees.

I've thought about doing this to my 07 Train but after careful consideration I think I'll leave it alone. I recently put a car tire on the back and that lowered it about 1.5" without taking away any shock travel. It also gave it a more stretched out chopper look which I think is what you're going for.

I'd rush slowly on kicking the front end out and if you do; maybe just kick it out 3-5 degrees and see how it sits before adding inches on the front tubes. I'm thinking 2" would do it though.

Holy chit someone put up pics! Thanks Story and Joe. Story I wrote this thread because of your bike. I want to do the 5* over trees with stock length forks. Looks like it would lower it in the front 1 1/2" and make overall length of the bike a few inches longer. Joe are those your stock length forks. I am going for a bit longer look to the bike so I don't think I would shorten the tubes.

The front end is stock length for a 84-99 FXST which is about an inch shorter than the stock rocker frontend..
