Default Vance & Hines Short Shorts???

Re: Heritage Softail
Hmmm did a search and got nothing. Does this mean nobody has put a set of Short Shots on a Heritage?? I think it might make the Big Girl look a little on the trashy side. Like to see a pic or two before I do it. How 'bout it, anybody?

Thanks,
Tucker

I installed the Short shots on my Fatboy this week and I think they look awsome, sound great too.
Even the wife was happy with the look and surprisingly didn't complain about noise.

I had a set on my FXST. It was too quiet with the baffles in so I took them out. It looked & sounded great. Real loud and I lost the torque on the bottom end. Since then I have installed the Big Radius pipes. I left the baffles in and they are still loud. I like the deeper sound with them. I might even try the big city thunder monster baffles next.

I think the real short pipes like these just rob some HP. I have the big shot staggered, bit longer and decent HP. I'd consider the big radius - give you a little more pipe (= more HP) and exit about the same place.

Do you still have the leather saddle bags? Just thinkin' It could be that the short shots may put too much heat on the bags since the blast from the pipes would exit at the front of the bag.
