For what is it worth I switch from Syn3 in all three to Amsoil 20 50 in all three. Mines and 07 fatboy. It runs cooler and the clunking and noise is gone. Now this is a new change for me so maybe it wont last. I cant speak on what oil does better in what climate. Here in ohio my new oil setup ran great for a 4 hour ride on a nice 70 degree day. Seems to big debate over what is the best oil and so on. So I just picked Amsoil since it is the easiest to get and appears to get reviews like Ford and Chevy. Just depends on who you talked to I guess.
