Question Removing side markers / deuce

I read a post earlier about removing the side markers off the front forks on a deuce would make it look a lot cleaner. Does anyone know how to remove them without screwing up the chrome?

i would guess carefully pull them off. and then use goo gone to get rid of the leftover stuff... i thought about doing this to my deuce, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I loosened my reflectors with a heat gun and then removed them by hand. I used mineral spirits to remove the adhesive residue.

I just got one warm with hairdryer and used dental floss then to the other and did the same then used WD40. Same could be done with fishing line and GOO Gone.
