I knew that mentioning the Rocker would get a few of you in here! I have an idea for my bike that I know will be kick ***, I just need some advice on execution. Basically, I want to cover my tins with spider webs. Not paint, but actual welded spiderwebs that bolt on to strategic locations (like tank mount bolt and fender strut bolts) and will be chromed, giving it a raised 3D effect. I am thinking I will need to attach rubber padding along the entire bottom of the webbing for vibration purposes. Very thin rubber... I think if I can have it formed to the bike, then welded and chromed it should work. This idea is definitely not in the works for anytime soon, I just would like ideas from people who know about this kind of stuff, for planning purposes. And dont worry about team black winning with this one, by the time the bike is done it wont be in one team, it will be in them ALL!! hahahahaha.....

 

No offense but didnt they do that on a bike on that stupid chopper show on discovery?????not callin u stupid the show was....but would love to see it post pics.

Not sure about the Discovery channel thing. I'll have to search that. I hadnt thought about cleaning... it would a huge pain in the ***. I was thinking along the lines of spider-mans suit. Thats where I came up with the idea for the 3D and I figure chrome, cause, hell, everything else is in chrome...lol.

That is similar to what I am thinking, except actually huggin the tins, kinda like the tank they did, but theirs hovers over. This bike looks like they had a good idea and then took a deuce on it. I hope to pull off something a bit more tasteful...
