Cheesy Plastic Tank Thinger on Night Train
This is a side view of my 2009 NT tank. There is this plastic piece that comes down from the console to the seat. What the heck is this thing called, why does it fit so $hitty, and what options are there to eliminate it or replace it??

Replaced my cheesy plastic tank thinger on my springer with a cheesy chrome tank thinger from hd. Removed it with the intention of leaving it naked but theirs a weld bead running up the center of the tank.

Gonna take mine off an use it to scrape the ice off my windshield on my truck in the winter. Maybe I can make a new one out of wood.

I have a leather one with a pouch to hold my reg and ins card. The plastic tends to warp in the sun
