Default 04 Heritage and a 48 Fleetline...shared DNA

Took a ride with my g/f to Tom's Farm in Corona, CA for breakfast.

Got there and sitting in the parking lot was a nice 48 Fleetline...black, chrome, and slammed.

I had to get a few shot of the car and my bike together. IMHO this style car and my style bike go hand in hand...almost like they share DNA

To me, the 48 Fleetline wins this battle hands down...man I'd love to own one of those.

And here is a shot of just the car...It's so nice it deserves it's own solo shot...

I think you are correct. There has to be some similar DNA in there.

Yeah he was super cool. Older cat, he bought that car as a project two years ago...restored and bagged it...and is just rolling.

He was saying he builds these bombs, then sells them, usually to overseas buyers for big bux...them moves to the next project. He said this was his 7th car...the last couple sold to buyers in Australia and Japan.

Everybody want's a piece of that SoCal lowrider style...and for the wealthy overseas folks...sounds like moneys is no object.

Pretty cool gig...very nice guy...and a sick Fleetline!

hell yeah pretty cool gig indeed.

if you have any sort of a shop and some knowhow, you can turn a heap into a show car for 10 grand on top of the purchase price (usually minimal).

then turn around and sell the f*cking thing for 50, 60, 70 grand.

i have a buddy who does it with cars, vettes, old muscle cars, some bikes, let's just say he's never worked a day in his life.
