I put one on my wife’s bike. I ended up with a fall over problem, flop. The best I could measure, the stock trail measurement was 5.85”. After installing the wheel my wife complained about it feeling heavy. She was right it had a real heavy fall over point. I measured the trail again and come up with 6.35”. Designers stay within 4 to 6”. Under 4 you get the shopping cart effect and over 6 you get the fall over thing. I had to lower my wife’s front fork to get rid of it. It wasn’t too difficult to install the Progressive lowering system just didn’t know I had to when I bought the wheels.
PS stock fender and mounts.

Something else I might add is that the wheel people sold me an Avon tire with white wall that Avon lists as a 3” maximum rim size. This is not good on a 3.5” rim. If you let your air pressure go down a little you stand a good chance of rolling it off the bead in high side loading maneuvers. Now I do check pressures every day before a ride however what may happen throughout the day is a different story.

Samson started out with a Stock Deluxe with stock paint. Everything we put into the bike were store bought items on purpose to show the style bike anyone can have. Even the alligator seat is the stock seat, just recovered. We set the hard bags back far to go along with the long 39" Cholo pipes. It has a built in iPad with large all weather speakers that blast with a huge amplifier in one bag. We recently got with the folks at Progressive shocks where when you run out of air the bike rises, not lowers. The bike had a small amount of air brushing on the stock paint which makes it look like a custom paint job. We built this bike to show everyone a style of bike many of our friends from East L.A. have been riding for years. This is a tribute to our friends from all over who have ridden this style bike for years and was aptly named "El Cholo" with all due respect.
