Default RE: Out with the Dunlops

I ran two full sets of Dunlops before switching to the Metzlers. I liked the mileage I was getting with the Dunlops...12,000+, but around 6,500 miles the tires would start catching the grooves out here in CA. The Metzlers are a lot smoother riding and real easy in the turns, almost too easy and I have to remind myself not to force the turns especially with the 16 inch bars I have. The only thing I've noticed so far is there is more road noise at 70+ that the Dunlops didn't have...but I also wear earplugs so it doesn't make too much difference...
Mounting tires...I pay $50 for both tires to be mounted if I bring the tires in. When I buy the tires at the shop the mounting is free. When the difference is added up it is less than $10 difference.
