Or just sent the original seat to Mean City Cycles for a complete re-do at half the cost. Nonetheless, it came out nice and that's what matters in the long run.

thewholehog, My bike has V&H True Duals on it.
Mike NY, Yeah I could have went that route, and do like that seat, but could not find one cheap enough.
OldBoldPilot, Yep, could have done that too, but it is riding weather here in Louisiana, and did not want to be down for an extended period of time.
As far as my cost goes, here is how I came up with it.
1 heritage seat from ebay $92.00 delivered. Upholster fee $100.00. My stock Deluxe seat since I used the parts sells for anout $90.00 on ebay, therefore about $280.00, but really only $192.00 if you do not add my stock seat.
