story808, if you want to wait I will let you know how this goes. I dont want to do a step by step but I may be able to answer some of your question. If I get any problems, or should I say when I will post on here
You don't HAVE to use a Heartland wheel to go with their kit. It doesn't even have to be off-set. I bought the rear wheel that is on my Train for a custom frame. I just did a LOT of measuring and used the right spacers. I believe this is what made it possible to stuff a 260mm in a 250 kit......
I would appreciate a copy of those instructions, if you don't mind... Have had a project planned for a while but was just stuck on the cost of the kits... This may get me moving... gman40sw@yahoo.com
Email sent guys. Not sure if I can or how to post that link I have sent to you both, or even the pics of the how to. Would be good to post it for all to see

Hey Tx, what kit did you use? I know I am going to have the same problems fitting my wheel. Got it of Ebay front back pulley & rotors
How long have you been riding on that kit? Any problems to date? I cant believe the price. I was going to go with heartland two-5-0 kit but that’s $3390 but with that kit, the years seem to match with all the differences that Harley have. like (86-99, 00-06)
Only been riding on it for about 6 mo. So far no troubles. I'll try to post up some picks. I took many of the install. The swing arm spacer they sent was 0.20 too large ( unless I spread my frame with a bottle jack ) I had it machined down 0.18 to insure a tight fit. Like I said looks killer, and so far rides good.
Thanks Fatboyscott, thats the info I have been looking for. If thats the only problem you had with the kit I am going to be happy. I know I am going to run into a couple of things. How about your seat, did your stock one fit? Marc
