I like the K&N filters. 5 micron filtering and easy on easy off. Stock up on black for my lo and chrome for the Sportster when I find them on sale.

Default Hope you understand...

Been with this thread a long, long time (mostly as spectator more recently) but I put off the inevitable long enough and traded my Lo in on a bagger. Was going on longer trips, the wife just didn't dig the ride and the noise, and frankly I wanted a change. Here's the new ride, so don't feel too bad for me. The Lo's will always be my first love, and I nearly cried letting her go, and I'll stay subscribed to this thread just for the memories. It's been fun.
Take care folks and ride safe.

Can you believe this used to be a FLHTP (Police EG)?

I found a local distributor for Amsoil and had it shipped to me. Then I found out there was a indy car shop that stocks the stuff.

Ahhh touche sir. For the cost of our bikes they should make them from a titanium can with a Kevlar fiber filter and a stainless steel spring with a gold bypass tube. Now we are talking the king of oil filters.

Got the call from the dealer today about the wife's bike. The bearing races were shot so a new wheel is needed. Freaking Harley wants $530.00 for a new Sportster mag wheel. I told them to hold off and found a used one in excellent condition for $155.00 shipped.
