My savage .308 is set up for long range. I use a SWFA SS 10x42 scope mounted on a Nightforce 20moa base. Shoot my own loads with 168 gr matchking. I have been able to hit a 9" plate at 1200 yrds maybe 3 out of ten times on a good day. 500-800 yrds with out to much wind is no problem.
Very, Very Nice. You know MisBehaven you have to keep that weapon box a little cleaner. You can see the years of discipline at work with that setup. **** ever hits the fan. You will be just fine.

In NJ 30 round magazines carry a 10 year in prison, $10,000 fine PER magazine. I have 8 of them. :-D woops. haha. ever hear of woot.com? they're owned by amazon now, i recently bought a Sightmark Sure Shot reflex sight (with 4 reticle patterns) for $40, and a Sightmark AT5R laser designator for $30. But I only have a single top-rail, with the standard plastic grips.. Im thinking about picking up a set of rail-grips off cheaperthandirt for $55 so i can re-mount the laser so it's more out of the way.. but since 1) .223 ammo is still sitting up close to $1/round, and 2) there's hardly any ranges available near me in NJ, i rarely go shooting anymore.

What I really need are some Crimson Trace laser sights for my M&P340, and my M&P45c.. since my eyes go crossed whenever i try to line up my sights

2nd gun is SICK!
God Bless you man.
The order in which everything is laid out is great.
Your dedication to the correct placement of everything to be easily assessable is awesome. All the years in the service have made you a machine man. Glad you're on my side.

I liked this gun more.. only ~26lbs loaded..

Except I liked this one more than that one:

One time i had to carry the entire M2, with tripod, by myself for like 500 yards, because the guy who was supposed to help me was a weak bitch. I ended up kicking him in the neck for being weak. Those two together were only 128lbs.. plus 120lbs of combat gear.. he deserved the be kicked in the neck.

And I liked this gun more than that one:

M198 Medium Towed Howitzer.. 8 tons.. I did not carry that one. Though with 1 other dude I did hitch one up to a 7ton (truck).. but they say the weight of the trails (the legs that stick out the back) when it's in the towed position is only like 400lbs (because of balance and such)

And i liked that gun because it makes big booms and makes buildings and people and shrubbery go byebye

and here's an Iraqi field mouse...

And a message for your kids...

WOW! to all the above... big guns! Man you guys would be great to bs with around a campfire drinking beers. By the way the so called field mouse is friggin huge!

" because the guy who was supposed to help me was a weak bitch"

I almost spit beer all over the screen lol.

The experiences you have acquired are priceless.
Man feel sorry for those so called fighters in Iraq. They had no idea how hard the boots were about to come down on them.
