If I like how the bars feel then next winter I may change them to 1.5 Carlini flying Apes. And I should be able to pony up some dough for a Shotgun shock soon.

I just did not want to screw up on the process. I was asking them to see if they would and for how much because I ordered Michelin commander 2's and since it would be there for them to put those on I figured kill two birds with one stone. Also I guess because it's my first HD I am nervous to damage my baby.. to be honest.
I did passing lamps recently. It's not that hard. I think it took me somewhere around three hours or so. It's definitely worth saving the money and doing it yourself. Just make sure that you put some towels or something on the tins so you don't ding your paint if you drop something.

Cool Fatbob.
I think I am going to give it a try but was trying to find a way to put the turnsignals I am taking off the bars. I would like to mount them on the bottom of the passing lamps. using existing stud on bottom of passing lights.

Hard to tell by your pic. Were you able to use the same turnsignals on the handlebars and mount them on your passing lamps? Or did you buy the ones from HD? (Josewales)

No I got the bullets meant for the deluxe bar kit. I sort of did a hybrid with the the regular bar kit by selecting parts out of the catalogue to make it work., which I didn't like the disc style lights on the regular kit.

You will see it has a different style of housing...

Well the LA Choppers were free. At least all the cables are done and the next swap will be a breeze.

Awesome bud....btw no offense on your apes that you have on now. Still looks great...FYI when I got my freeways, I asked for blemished and saved $100. Turns out the blemish was under the clamp and would of been hidden.
