Its time
Hey everybody, i have a 2012 low that i've logged about 3000 miles on so far but havent done much for mods other than tinted turn signals and the street slammer bars. I would like to remove the HD badges from the tank but dont quite know how or what sort of adhesive is holding them on. has anyone done this thats willing to lend some advice?? also im looking for some black spoked wheels if anyone has a pair or a good place to look online for them. Thanks in advance!!!

Welcome to the Lo thread. I am sure that you'll find your answers here. The tank badges are applied with 3m tape. You should heat them up with a blow dryer or heat gun but don't get them to hot. You can then use dental floss or fishing line to cut through the tape in a sawing motion to get them off. Goo Gone to get the left over adhesive off the tank.

After getting run over 11 months ago to the day, by my lil-ole-lady next door neighbor (who then died about 2 months ago) & totaling my 30 year-old custom Shovel, I'm finally getting around to modding my scoot. I just purchased the Patriot 2-1 pipes. All I hear are great things about them!
I ordered the Heritage-type bags & this tour pack, to go behind the solo seat for my dog (we'll be cutting a hole in the top). We have to modify the rack to fit, as Harley doesn't make a rack to fit the larger rear fender behind the solo. I'm thinking of mini-apes, like I had before.
Here's my old setup:

Fellow Lo Riders, Looking for a little assist...
Lowered my Lo last week and love the flat footed stance. (Yes I'm short) Love the look too. However, the ride is just a little to stiff for my damaged back. Want to adjust some more "bounce" into the shocks. Here is my issue, Just not quite sure which way to turn them. Any help would be appreciated.
