Ground on the sissy bar so I didnt have to buy a relocation kit. It was getting dark so pictures will have to wait til tomorrow.
Tomorrow will include putting on the SAS air ride and my Carlini 16" gangsta apes. Also, taking off the tank emblems. Hopefully it will be done atleast until I start buying more things for it.

Aloha from Paradise!!!

I got my Lo right after Thanksgiving as a gift to myself for promotion and return from deployment.

500 miles later, still stock (for now).

Plans for the future:

Arlen Ness Big Sucker II (In garage waiting for install)
Freedom Performance Declaration Turnouts (waiting for delivery)
Trying to decide which tuner to go with, but leaning towards the Cobra Fi2000 PowrPro
New Bars (To Ape or Not to Ape...)
Relocate or lay flat license plate
Relocate Front Turn Signals
Gray lenses for all signals (Maybe LEDs too)
Solo Seat upgrade (I too have the sore tail)

The list goes on, but the wallet weeps for each...

Great looking rides on here & I now have many new ideas... Again, the wallet weeps...

Ben

Do a search on this forum for that fuel tuner..i think awhile back some people had problems with, but it may have just been 1 person blowing it out of proportion..i don't recall.
for the lay-flat license plate, my 2 favorite options are the Kuryakyn curved low-profile (chrome or black, i went with Chrome because they didn't make it in black back then), or the hogrida lay-flat plate..

And I'm sure Misbehavin will remind you to remove your reflectors Easiest thing to do, and completely changes the look of the bike

Welcome home an thank you for your service. Looks like your on your way to making it your own. I could not help but notice (with the help of Sgt Jim) that you still have reflectors on your forks. and struts. You can take advantage of a great free modification and remove them your self for absolutely free. LOL. Enjoy being home and ride safe.

Welcome home man.
I was waiting for the above comment lol!. I did do the said mod. BUT! in my haste to hurry while I was at work, hum, ummm ... I used a sharp plastic scrapper for removing the remaining double side sticky. I proceeded to add a couple of little patina marks to where my reflectors were
So I guess they are not just bare metal they have a coating on them as well it seems? Gonna have to try to buff them out. Just a warning.

Use your wife's hair dryer or a heat gun to warm them up first then they should peel right off. Goo gone removes the left over adhesive.
