So I came into a free set of Black 1.25 LA choppers hefty 14" Apes I am getting ready to order new throttle cables, clutch cable ,ABS brake line, Namz +8 wire extension, new bushings, master cylinder gasket, exhaust gaskets and trans cover gasket. Can you think of any thing I may have missed?
Hope to be home in a couple of weeks to do the install. I also have to put 10" mini apes on the wife's Sportster. That should keep me busy for the weekend. LOL
BTW Magnumshielding now makes a front ABS brake line kit for our bikes.

Go +10 on the namz. I went +8 with the same setup and it wasn't long enough to run the wires through the top of the trees. I have since changed to +10 and there is plenty of length to follow the stock route. Go with the SE exhaust gaskets or an aftermarket just like them. 5 sets of exhaust later and I would never use the original crush type gaskets again.
What's the master cylinder gasket for? You don't need to replace that, it's a rubber seal that is reusable. Just don't tighten down the bolts too much and distort it when you put the cap back on.
Go out and get yourself a couple grade 8 or 10 bolts for the risers. It's peace of mind when having that much leverage stressing those bolts.

So I ordered the LED Trucklite High Intensity phase 7 headlight 7" through Eastern Performance and it's the Kuryakyn brand. Can't beat the price of $199 compared to the HD $550 day maker LED. Delivery was within two days and the packaging was good. Install was straight forward, it probably took 10 minutes. Once this light is installed you're gonna need a new trim ring because as you see in my pics the headlight will stick out past the stock Lo trim ring. And I do not have a trim ring yet to take the pics. I got this because the stock one just doesn't cut it. Unfortunately no riding pics yet since the ice and snow!

Thanks, I tried that and tried it with imageshack. It pulls the image up when I copy the url and paste it into another window. I'll have to try something else later tonight. The Bruins are playing the Canadiens right now....Go Bsss!
