Race Tech or Ricor?
Sgt Jim, I started researching the Race Tech Gold Valve Emulators and ran accross a discussion you had earlier in this thread. Did you ever pull the trigger on those? If so, how are the treating you? I know Bill and a few other guys are running the Ricors. I was talking with a local custom builder and he recomended the Race Tech instead of the Progressive Drop In setup, but he had never heard of the Ricors.
As always any experience you guys have with this topic is greatly appreciated
Another question I have is: Anyone out there in the Lo comunity running a 21" wheel with raked trees? If so please post some pics. What were the handling results? I'mgoing to post a thread in the softail section, but I wanted to ask the Lo guys directly.

Yeah I found a set of them somewhere (i think Amazon) for like $95, so I bought them.. They're really nice, between those and the 422's in the rear I definitely notice a better ride all around and much better handling in the curves. My only gripe was that because I used the stock springs, I had to fabricate 1" spacers to insert in to the fork tubes to compress the springs (their documentation explains how you're raising the front end by installing them, so you've got to compress the springs to compensate). Had to use a press to get them all put back together, small pain in the butt, but overall not bad.
I don't know if the ricors tell you to, but with the racetechs they tell you to drill out extra holes in your damper tubes for better oil flow, that could be a pain if you don't have a drill press.. overall, i like them

How's the motor coming? Had a chance to test it out yet?
Do you have the part # for the T/S visors that fit our bikes? Did they come in black?

The motor is all put together, i have a muffler out for powercoat because i broke the ceramic coating last year when i melted a pair of pants to the pipe, so i'm waiting for that to get back..oh..also..it's be 23*F here.
And the Visored Front Turn Signal Lenses are P/n 73342-09, and the rear are 73343-09. Also they come color-matched to the signals (front are more flat, rear are gloss)

Back at the shop!
Here are a few pics and update on my bike. Its back at the shop getting the following: Heartland EZ 200 kit, DNA 52 Mammoth spokes 21x3.5, 18x5.5, metzeler tires, I decided to go against the grain and went with the Platinum bleed and feed air ride, which is similar to the shotgun. I am contemplating a red pinstripe on the wheels and fenders to break up all the black. We are just waiting on the Klock Werks wrapper fender which is on backorder. We are also discussing lowering the front end, however I dont know what kit to go with, I am leaning on the progressive fork lowering kit and ricor intiminator. Anyhow heres a couple of pics. I will update once its done.
