Default Ape Suggestions

Looking to swap out my 12 mini apes and go to 16"- any suggestions on what to put on my 2010 FB Lo? Mine now are 33.75" tip to tip. Could stand to go out a little more ange but not below 33.75". Had thought about keeping my bars and change out the risers but not sure how that would look.

Santa dropped off his present for me already. I went ahead and ordered it from Surdyke since they had free shipping along with their usual discount. Unfortunately the wife is gonna make me wait till Christmas. It's a aux light setup though so maybe I can play the extra safety angle to get it out from under the tree a little early.

Duh I see you went with the 555's
Yeah I went with the 555's.. the 777's make 1-2 more hp and a tiny bit more torque it seems, but come to their maximum a bit later on.. after going through about 30 emails with Brian at FuelMoto I decided on going with the 555's.. and no, the internals on my 96" are all stock, i've got a stage 1 intake and exhaust, but havent' touched anything else.. I'm doing the core exchange, and for anyone curious... When you buy their kit, there's a $299 core fee, then you ship your stock ones back in the exchange, and they refund you the $299. There's a few people with softails that have done the 107" kit, and all of them swear "This will be the first mod I do on my next bike".. so i'm pretty psyched to see how different it really is.

Well so cold here can't ride anymore. Loved my first summer with my bike. Can't wait for the next one ! So in the meantime Santa's elves came by and dropped off V&H big radius 2-1 and new air filter. Stage one happening as we speak. No 107" but baby steps ! New forks on order. Going with gloss black uppers and Arlen ness edge cut lowers. Hoping the look rounds out the rest. Can't wait to see it all on ......

It's going to drive you insane.. once you get everything bolted on and say to yourself "I want to go out for a ride.." then look outside and there's 3 meters of snow on the ground, then get sad and drink some Molson Ice..

Then after a couple of brews you should get on the internet and find a house and a job in Florida. Move and then don't worry about it anymore

Should be quite a bit of difference, can't wait for your review. I did SE 255 cams on mine back in May and was impressed with the torque difference, at the time I was talking to a guy about doing a 103 with head work. Didn't want to deal with the down time and couldn't see tearing into an engine with 1200 miles on it. Think I'm just gonna do a dyno tune for now, I have made smart tune runs on the street (it has helped quite a bit) but I would like to have a more complete map. So maybe big bore kit next winter.
