I'm 5'7" and 175# and I'm also using the stock seat. I still want to change the reach on my handlebars, either curved risers or new bars. But the backrest seems to help with the reach as I'm not slumping when I ride.

I've got those LED's, before I did the tank lift they were pretty accurate.. the low-fuel light would come on after I had done about 20 miles with 1 LED bulb remaining.. now that I did the tank lift they drop down a lot quicker even though I have fuel in the tank, so I don't really trust them anymore

Well, I had to have the dealership warranty my front brake master cylinder. It would work fine but when parked overnight the first pull, it goes right to the bar. takes a couple squeezes and it works fine for the day. They said they have seen quite a few new ones, right out of the crate that were bad.
The sevice guy told me they could do it in a few weeks, I told him I didnt have a few weeks. They did it on the spot for me. My jaw damn near hit the floor when he said they would do it right away. and on a Saturday. Thats the first time Ive walked out of there happy since I bought the bike.

They are called C-130's. I got them from Leatherneck Jim's. The pouches on the back I had added on. They can customize them however you want including shorter straps, studs, I think color. Ect. I'm pretty happy with them but I sometimes wish they had a stiffer backing plate and that I would've gone with the shorter straps. Someday I'll probably get some boss bags. Unless I get a streetglide first.
