What are the dealers charging you guys for the sissy bar install?
Thanks.
I was quoted around $400. I suppose (hope) that's parts and work. I had one guy tell me that it takes them 4 hours to do the work, which is likely BS. Anyone else want to weigh in?

Called a local dealer. Was told takes 1.5 hrs to install.
Holy chit! Isnt it 4 bolts? Talk about milking the clock
1.5 hours is probably realistic for a first timer if your doing the turn signal relocation too. I would think the guys at the dealer could cut that in half pretty easy.
I did it myself in about an hour and a half. That included relocating turns and the only advice I have is get every inch of wire from the turn signal through the new post. They don't give you anymore than you need and it's a tight fit to get it back to the brakelight. Had to run my second one twice to learn that lesson. Lol
hey i just remembered i have a quick release short sissy bar with the backrest I machined to fit without relocating the turn signals. I'll sell it to u for $150.00. I also have a tall one with the pad that is not machined. Easy to do however. No need to buy the relo kit. Same price $150.00. PM me if you're interested.
