I have been riding for over 14 yrs and have never had a flat tire on my bikes!

I just had both tires replaced for free after only 2000 miles on my Lo. For Free, or you could say prepaid!
I had some sort of slow leak in my front tire and made an appt to get it fixed and walked out to my bike to find the rear completely DEAD flat. had a tiny nail in the tread, could barley see it.
The parts mgr almost did not believe me and almost had a problem getting it replace cuz the head office couldn't believe it either.
But it happened and did not cost me a dime and was on my way to Stone Henge that night for the summer solstis, which had no cool sun rise since there is like never any sun in England!!!
What is this?....Limeys and Canucks Eh? fer gosh sakes!!!! I'm half a canuck. Mums from Edmonton dontcha know. I'm oat n aboat. Who has better beer? strip clubs? U.S.A. brother!!!

Alot of us used to ride rice. I had the CBR900RR, BUSA and ZX-7. This is my third HD. Don't try to ride the Lo like your rice. You'll go thru brake pads like hot cakes eh. Get the 7 year with the tire warranty. I've had two front tires pick up nails. The tire warranty has already paid for itself eh. God Bless the U.S. of Fckn A!!!

Fatburger- its more of my right thigh. I was thinking of wrapping the pipe and then putting the heatshield back on. would that be fine? Or could that be hazardous with the wrap not getting enough air flow when its trapped under the heatshield with such extreme temperatures.

I read some where that heat wrapping your pipe then putting the shield back on will make them hotter. All the twin cams get hot with the factory EPA settings. Going stage 1 will help with some of the heat. But lets face it these are air cooled motors and when your in slow and stopped traffic they get freaking hot. You either get used to it or use something like the Captain Itch Crotch cooler to help shield your thighs from the heat. I use one and it works great.

Just a thought, those of you that are getting alot of flat tires. Think about where your riding, if your spending alot of time in the center of lanes, the main place the cage tires don't clean off the debris for you. I always try to follow the cage tires path, left or right for that reason.

I'm concerned that you might not have enough lighting on the front of your bike to ride at night...

It's the rocker cover heating up your thigh, not the pipe. There are aftermarket shields for that area if it's too uncomfortable for your tender skin.
