I am having the dealer order windshield 57400111, which is 18" tall, but is cut for Auxiliary lighting. My bike does not have Aux lighting, but does anyone know if the windshield will work anyway? I'm guessing it will just have cutouts to fit around my non-existent aux lights, and I'm hoping that won't be a problem.

Cool never been to that either, I did not do my bars, the dealer did them, my girlfriend had them done as well as stage one and pipes as a Easter present last year, they made her a hell of a deal, I guess that what happens when a woman goes into the dealer, I was ok after I found out how much she paid, either way I've heard good and bad about fuel pak, but lots of people run them with no problems, if you change your mind about it and deside to go with something diff look up fuel moto, very good cust service, wish I new about them when I got mine, good luck, pipes very easy, and I've herd bars are as well, grab a service manual and dig in,there's a lot of good guys on here if you have any problems

Bigger concern is buying something that is made poorly and having issues later.

Anyone heard of Custom Dynamics? http://customdynamics.com/street_mag...taillights.htm

Their web site looks so cheap it concerns me.
I am running the CD integrated tail light with no rear signals and really like it. It's a great buy for the money and it's plug n play. I also have their LED inserts for the front signals and all work great plus it's all lifetime guarantee.

I think I am going to subscribe to the KISS method for the moment, so I think the FP will suit me fine.. My dealer is pretty damn tight on the discounts.. but I drive the extra way to go to DE to at least save on Tax... Did you get your cables replaced as well?

Do you have the SE Paper filter? or did you go with something else under your cover?

I was just checking out the East Coast Sturgis.. that might be a good solo camping trip weekend.. Right after I just returned my bags.. hehe..

Default Upgrading Grips

I went by the dealer yesterday and was able to test out some of the custom HD grips. I really like the feel of the stock grip rubber and was looking at the skull grips that are mostly rubber..

The Black Diamonds look nice but just seemed like they would be very slick and the dealer told me the edge cuts are very bad in the cold..

Is there a lot of non HD custom grips or should I just stay with the HD lines?

Thoughts?

I have the Edge cut grips on my bike and they have not been any problem in hot or cold weather. I do wear glove most of the time but around town on nice days I don't. Good gloves for winter and I ride through out the winter when the roads are dry.

I had the HD diamond black grips for my Fat Bob. I didn't have any issues with grip but I always where full fingered gloves when I ride. I went with RSD's Grips for my Lo since I liked the design better. I'll be blacking out my brake lever this weekend with the rustoleum since the shift levers I did weekend before last seem to be holding up pretty good. I'm trying to decide if I want to do the passing lamps next or try and get some kind of oil cooler next. If I go lamps I'll probably get the aux setup. I'll need new tires in a month or so. Can any body recommend their favorite? I need something with good life that can handle rain well since I'm down in Florida.
