OK.... I'll buy that. Is there any info on where to get the lift kit at?

I also have someone who may be looking to trade a detachable one for some of the parts I have for sale (fingers crossed).
Here are some closeups:

Yeah, it's basically for looks.. it changes the angle of the tank to better flow with the handlebars and the backbone of the frame, and like Bill said, it also opens up the rocker box covers to be viewed better.. looks a lot cleaner. they say you lose up to 1/4 gallon of fuel (because you're tilting the tank upwards), but my range-o-meter still shows that i get 190miles before empty, the fuel gauge is still fairly accurate, and i've gone 160miles on a tank and only put in like 3.5 or 3.7 gallons, something like that..so it's not horrible, but i haven't (nor do i want to) run her dry yet and see how much fuel i actually lost

Right here: http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/Soft...DK-SFT-TLK.htm

They also do a coil relocation kit that really cleans up the side of the bike:

EDIT: Also, thanks for the pics Bill! Do you have your bars leaned forward at all?

The second pic shows them leaned forward a bit.

It isn't over exaggerated but is definitely past the plane of the forks. This thread shows a member that cut his shield down to better fit his forward pushed apes https://www.hdforums.com/forum/6840886-post9.html

Mine could go forward another 2-3 inches w/o hitting the shield.

It's all starting to come together, picked up the parts for the light bar from the powder coater today and my handle bars should be here Tuesday. So this is where I need some help, what is the best way to figure cable and brake line length? All they would tell me at the place I ordered the bars from is "yea all the Harley stuff fits " I'm thinking on going with the diamond black ones from Harley, but I know there are a lot of other choices out there. Just wondering what your guys experiences changing handle bars were like. Also is there any difference in grips? Some places say fit all Harleys and others have model year applications. As always any feedback is appreciated!

Ok, yeah you can see the motor better and it looks cool. I don't believe it aides in cooling though. Just what did that set you back?

Did a swap to a sie mount plate. Then used the coin holder from motordog69 to cover the holes from the old plate mount. Figured it would be different from the regular things they have to cover the holes. The coin isn't stuck yet but I wanted to see how it would look.

Talking Joining in on the fun from Tulsa, OK

After lurking (and maybe stealing a few ideas) for the last several months, I thought I would finally join in and post a few pics of my baby. Always a work in progress, but I'm satisfied for a little while. Cheers and stay safe out there
