My primary is black of course, but on the cam cover and rocker box covers, i use Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish..seems to work pretty nice

So I tinted and painted my rear turn signals and visors and installed, looks pretty bad a$$, side note this is the second set I've purchased, I usually paint the parts semi flat, then bake in the oven on 215 to 225, for about 10-12 min to match the denim ( I also did fender struts and rear turn signal a mnth or so ago) but I guess, since there small thin plastic, they distorted and bowed in the center, a $35.00 learning experience, lol

I think the satin chrome is supposed to be clear coated. My primary gets those stupid smudges too. I'm going to get it powder coated eventually. Lucky for me I found a local indy that does there own powder coating and I can get it done in a weekend so almost no down time. I found out the other day that they also do an exchange program with some stuff. I'm going to get my grips in flat black for like 5 bucks with exchange. That sure beats the hell out of paying Harley 90 bucks for a new set. I've decided I can't take my bags being uneven so I'm going to drill them again tomorrow. They are about 7/8 th of an inch off and it's not noticeable from a distance but it's driving me nuts. I think there's enough material between the two holes that I won't lose any integrity but I think I'm going to fill the old holes in the bag with JB weld just in case. Does that sound like a bad idea or completely unnecessary?

Finally got my Lo on Friday! Instantly swapped the seat, flush mount caps, swing arm bag, intake and fuel mgt. Now just waiting on the pipes to arrive in mail, unfortunately the dude mailed them parcel post before I could tell him otherwise....
