Having trouble with neutral, and have read some posts about people having trouble finding it. Hopefully I'll figure it out, or it will correct itself during break in.

Enjoying this upstate NY spring.
2-3 hundred miles after my 1000 mile service my neutral became much easier to find. Just some breakin time and she will get better.

I did the HD 6" risers on a 2011 with no new cables. It is snug, but definitely works.

about finding neutral.. I just refilled my transmission with LucasOil 85W140 gear lube, and the transmission seems to shift a lot more easily now, and finding neutral is a breeze

My bike has ABS and I had the dealer install 6inch pullback risers. I didn't need any new cables but the brake cable is pretty tight. As far as finding neutral goes it does get easier with the miles. I just did my 5000 mile service and it is easier since I switched to mobil 1 V-twin 20W-50. After riding today I think I'm going to have the indy adjust my clutch since it seems to be acting strange after I tried to adjust it myself. Hopefully they'll be willing to show me how to do it right so I can do it in the future myself.

Tip for Neutral: With bike in 1st gear and CLUTCH ENGAGED, bring RPM's up, and lightly lift up on shifter.

Hope this helps. Usually, the bike and the rider require some "Break in time together."

For those that have changed some of the trim to wrinkle black (or gloss black), do I need to get both the Transmission Top Cover and the Side Cover? I know the side cover is satin from the factory, just not sure on the top cover and my bike isn't here for me to go look. Thanks!

Fairings and windshields are for pussies. I like the wind, road grime on my face, bugs in my teeth...trashy chicks dig that...old skool!
