Calling all FatBoy Lo Owners

I don't mean to beat the AC issue to death but when I asked Fuel Moto to go ahead and send it they said if would be fine to run it without tune and exhaust. Those guys know what they are doing so I trust what they say as far as that goes. The low profile oil catcher from HD is a decent piece of gear, however one word of caution: be careful using it with your truck or other vehicles. The hole for the oil is tiny and if you aren't careful the oil will hit the pan, bounce up, and go all over the garage floor. I'm hoping for better results when I go to do my 5000 mile service next weekend. The BAL3-ST is sitting on the counter right now but the wife is making me wait till my birthday tomorrow to put it on. I'm not pushing the issue because she also let me get a new Glock which I'm picking up on Thursday.

Need some advice from those of you that went with bigger cubes... My bike is going under the wrench for a 103 upgrade (with cams) from a trusted indy. Should I even consider a 107 or 110? $$ isn't really a problem, figure if I'm doing this once I should do it right. I would like to keep my fuel milage somewhat decent and my wife enjoys riding so anything too rowdy might not go over so well. (I made that mistake with my Z06, she hates it now.)
Just looking at my options before we get started with the work. Any advice?

Are you sure money isn't an issue? I was talking to a local engine builder a few weeks ago, and he mentioned to me that 107" is the biggest that you can bolt on to the stock crankcase without having to bore it out or change a bunch of crap in it.. are you getting headwork done too? I think you'd probably be happy with the 103" with heads.. I don't know the difference in numbers off the top of my head.. i think the 107" is like +6hp/+8tq or something like that.. If money wasn't a factor, go for the 120R and call it a day :-D I'm thinking about the 107" kit whenever I have um..what's it called? um..oh yeah.. Money.. $2,500 with heads and labor from the same guy i talked to

Appreciate the insite. The indy gets my bike tomorrow, will have to have another chat with him and get his thoughts on the possibilites. He's been building bikes for quite a while and has done plenty of large cubed motors for HD's. While a 120 sounds great to me I don't think the wife would appreciate it. Of course I could always tell her to get her own bike.

What do you guys think about Harley's dual bulb halogen lamp kit? I would love to have the black LED but it's really out of my price range. I'm wondering how much better the dual bulb halogen kit would work over the stock bulb. I looked it up on surdyke and it's about 118.00 instead of the 450 or so for the LED.

Money comes and goes, might as well go to something good. Besides, we all know this thread is a wallet sucker!

I had a whole list of things I learned that I wanted to put in here, but I don't remember what half of them were..A set of exhaust from a 1999-2006 88ci model will fit a 2007+ 96ci model.. The 422's in the rear, and the RaceTechs up front make a world of difference in handling in the corners.. small cup baffles make a nicer sound than the stock 13" baffles.. umm.. soldering sucks monkey chode.. the 1.5" lift keeps the fuel gauge accurate, but the range-meter is fubar'd..completely topped off, it said I had a range of about 175 miles, and 75 miles later it says I have 45 remaining.. so yeah. Oh, and in the tranny.. 85w140 gear lubricant really does help shifting.. she slides in to neutral very nicely now, and shifting through the gears just feels better.. so.. on with the photos.
Where did you mount the horn?
