Well C&C is no more an option due to elimination of the 2 fender stock seat bolts....Lepera Sonora Black Distress Leather (without studs)has been chosen and ordered. I am able to keep the stock bolts in place to swap back to stock 2up from their seat. The Sonora offers some decent comfort w/ gel and will give it a bit of old skool value to the look. May have to modify the motherwell solo rack to overlap the seat mount insert in the back.

Oh well to be different I guess....funny how these forums gets one thinking 'bare bones or C&C solo' so easy heh.

Other note...Ashley at Lepera said that I can order up some black distress leather for bags if needed. I am sure Boss bags will be able to swap the weave for it out of their springer style bags.

Default 2011 Fatboy Lo wiring question

Can anyone help? I need the tail light wiring diagram for a 2011 Fatboy Lo. I installed a side mount tag with brake light, and need to wire it, turn signals and my tag light. Also front turn signal wiring would help too. I went to order a service manual, but dealer said 2 weeks, and I need help now. Going to Daytona in a couple of days. Thanks in advance.

A couple of hours and the right tools. Got it finished without the diagram.

I put a Cobra 2000 Auto Tuner on last night hoping it will do what it says it will do. I have to get my new Performance Machine Breather mounted right now and then it is time for a test ride.

T2K5 your bike is looking sweet.

Thanks Misbehaven. I really like both the seat and windshield. Do you happen to have part numbers for both. I have found looking through the parts catalog is a hard way to try and pick a seat and backrest.

I have that windshield as well, but when it came it was WAY too tall for my liking. I like the top to be right at the nose when I'm riding so that I'm actually looking over the plastic but fully shielded from the blast. I took it to a local shop and had them cut it down about 5-6 inches for me (stock comes in at 21"). It cost me about $50 I think, but it looks like it came that way and is now perfectly set up for me individually.

78* today, powdercoating's back, bike is about 90% put back together.. all I have left to do is wire in the extensions for the coil, change the spark plugs/wires out, and hook the battery back up.. oh ..and get it out of my dining room. I don't have any 18 gauge wire though.. anyone think there'd be a problem using 12 gauge instead? I've got coils and coils and coils of that crap

I wouldn't go cheap on her now Sarge.
Go to the hardware store and just get the 18 gauge.
Do it right the first time and never have to worry about it again.
