Just sitting it around the headlight The gap at the bottom of the new visored ring almost closes together even being around the bottom tab of the original trim ring. I dont see any way it will fasten tightly. And then, even if the circumference were correct, there is about a half inch gap between the front of the headlight and the back of the new trim ring leaving a void there you could stick your index finger into.

Any help would be appreciated... from anyone!!

Thanks.
The part number you listed is for the touring bikes you need part #69734-05.

I like the look of the stock bars but my back cant handle it for more than an hour.

Hello everyone. I have been following this thread since I got My FatBoy Lo in November. There are many nice bikes posted here, and lots of helpful info, so thanks everyone. I have been traveling for work pretty much since I got my Lo, but I am home now, and finally got to do some mods. I still have more to do. Here are some pics.

+1......How tall are those apes? You really need the smoked lenses for your signals or maybe some smaller ones if you plan to leave them on the bars.

Thanks. The bars are Carlini 17" Evil Apes. I had the dealer install the apes while I was traveling, and plan on moving or deleting the turn signals. I am still trying to figure out what I want to do, I really want to remove the turn signals, but do not want any dash lights to come on.

Welcome. I changed the headlight on my FatBoy Lo to the HD L.E.D. light, but I changed everything to the 5 3/4" version. I have not run it yet, still waiting for my tail light to arrive. I will let you know in a couple of days.
