Hey, ERIK118
Where did you get those rear passenger pegs that mount up high like that?
I have been wanting to do that to my Lo with the stock rear pegs, but couldn't find rear peg mounts that mount that high.

I like the lights, I didn’t think I would at first but it kind of "Fattens" up the front a little. The pegs are high so that I can take my daughter for rides, she is only six, a bit short for regular pegs and she loves it. I have a set of half-moon boards for when I take the wife. I hate how they look when not in use so I just bolt them on when needed. That’s why I bought her a new Sporty.

I know a local who has the rear passenger pegs mounted like that. According to him, some of the "adult women" like them better like that amongst a few other stories.

They are the stock peg mounts, I just removed the Torx head bolt from the strut and installed a longer 3/8" bolt. I drove with it last year like that and it worked out great for taking my little girl for rides. This winter I took them back off and spun them down a bit in a lathe to make them shorter and re-powdercoated them. That way they tuck away a little better under the seat when not in use.

Cool, Thanks
That's what I'm gonna do then. Maybe I'll leave the stock set on and have them also so the girlfriend can move her feet to a different position when we go on long rides.

Yeah, see if you can get access to the clamp things that hold the heat shields on and remove those first.. give ya a few extra milimeters to stick some wrenches in there.. to get the rear flange bolts, I had to use a fairly long extension to my socket wrench, though i'm sure it was more than needed.. once you have the flanges off, and the bracket loose that bolts the exhaust to the frame, the whole thing will come off in one piece. As far as FM maps, a lot of people around here run them with their PCV's and PV's.. the only negative I've ever read about on here with them is that they're tuned for a different altitude and air pressure than where you may live. it won't cause anything to go "wrong" with your bike, and it's perfectly fine to run one of their maps, but it won't be as perfect as if you were to get it tuned locally.. depends on how perfect you want things to be.

Thanks Sgt Jim.
