Calling all FatBoy Lo Owners

Got the first 100 mile commute in today on the new Corbin. What a huge difference. It's not even close to being broken in but it made a huge difference, especially on the interstate with that backrest. I just found out that my pipes aren't being released to the 20th so it looks like my bagger project will be pushed back again. By the time I get my bags on I'm going to have to knock the dust off first. I read somewhere about a way to use JB weld to replace missing threads. I can't find the info anywhere but the basic idea was coating the bolt with something and then JB weld. Screwing it in and then removing the bolt to allow the JB weld to set. Does that sound familiar to anybody? Here's some better pics of the seat.

It pulls right out and there is a flap that velcros down and makes the hole pretty much disappear. You have to take the seat off to get to the single bolt that holds it in. It's really easy to take off since all you have to do is insert a key into the lock on the right side and it releases the seat from the mounting brackets. The backrest is adjustable with the angle and can be moved a little forward and backward. I'll probably play with that for a while.

or continue.. looks like i'm going to attempt a 1.5" tank lift now.. I was going to go 2", but while I was doing my measurements, I couldn't lift the tank any higher than 1.7" without the turn signals hitting the tank on either side.. so hopefully 1.5" gives me a good look all the same

Welcome to the thread Hitman.
I am some what new to this myself but I have found www.DrVtwin.com to be very helpful at finding parts. They have a place to search several Catalogs from different companies.
If you are looking to smoke out your turn signals try Custom Dynamics they have a few items that might help.
