Really digging those fenders Jose. Bike is looking sweet and can't wait see it painted. Do you have the hard bags yet or are you waiting on those?

Here's a picture - looks lonely waiting for me to pick her up! I'll post after the mods are done.

Thanks everyone for all the previous great ideas!
Welcome to "The Thread." I saw your post in the Dyna fourm though I still do not know why that other person claimed he was bottoming out on a Lo unless he did not adjust the shocks for two up.

I'm not sure what he meant either - I'm pretty sure the Fat Bob sat almost as low as the Fat Boy, so unless there is just a huge weight issue (I'm 6'-4" and 220 lbs.), it doesn't really make sense. Anyway, that didn't really play into making the switch. I've always loved the Fat Boy's, and know this will ultimately be a better bike for me. I rode a lot earlier in life, took a few years off, and when I jumped back in 2 years ago, really felt comfortable on the Dyna, and felt that was a good bike to get back into riding. But, as others on the forum have said, you should always get the bike you really want, so that's where I'm at now.

And, with no offense to the Fat Bob crowd intended, I just never really could get past those dual headlights and bobtail fender, and even though swapping them out was an option, at the end of the day and a great price from my local HD dealer, it just made more sense to move to the low.

Naw man...decided not to bag for now. Going to sit on it this year and see how I feel next winter.

Thanx for the props.

Awesome...welcome to the cool kids. Curious...are you getting the sissy bar just to lug around stuff? If so check out the motherwell solo rack. That's on my list. I still have the sissy bar for 2 up when needed.

Brutus01,

I am in the same boat as you on the ABS lines. I have called several companies including Dr. V Twin and Magnium for the ABS lines and as of right now no one has anything. The HD dealership said they can get Black Diamondback ABS lines for my 14" Apes but they are pricey. I might just wait about a month and try again.

Magnum told BR that they didn't make them for the softails with ABS but I am not sure thats right because I think someone said Dr. V-twin could get them.
