Wow, they lost money if your price includes tax.

Finally ordered my bars and cables last Saturday. Hopefully should be on next week! First was gonna go with 16" buffalo bars, then 17" Todd's Cycle apes, and after seeing some bikes in Sturgis I went with these Roland Sands Vintage 16" King Apes. I can't wait!

I just like to go in with as much knowledge as is reasonably available, in advance, so when they start all that typical car salesman shuck and jive I am armed with a few facts. I've had dealers stick to MSRP as if corporate told them they had to, and I just went down the road if they wouldn't talk to me. (By the way, one of the worst is sucking wind and probably won't last. He's also got a real crappy rating with the BBB and several complaints lodged against him. Again, more knowledge). I'm also waiting till later in the fall when 2010 prices might be a little more elastic.

Anybody have a comment on timing for 2010 models? Now, or wait some more?
I am in the sand right now and my wife told me they were out of 2010's also I using the Military, buy they way they were sold out. I ordered a 2011 to be delivered right about the time I get home. But the 2010's are holding thier value big time if look on ebay. I am paying 16,500 than just taxes 1200 for that is what I anticipate. So he got a good deal.
