Calling all FatBoy Lo Owners

What scares me...when the Lo is all said and done this spring, another bike! The ol'lady wants to take a riding course...maybe another Softail for her. On the bight side, even though my pipes are loud I won't be able to hear her nag & complain from the back anymore. Damn women are expensive all for some more softail

1) More luggage for you to put your stuff in
2) It's so damn ugly that when ever you two go somewhere, the focus will always be on your bike, and not hers.
that is all.

To all my Lo bros....please help me out a bit with your thoughts...
I blame the 'deluxe seat' thread for making my head spin again. Damn...there are 2 ways of go about seats and leather for my Lo. Deluxe stock seat & hog deluxe swingarm bag and bibs that match the seat perfectly...or keep it simple with a Lepera bare bones, Hog Deluxe Swing arm bag (without the weave) & Motherwell solo rack. Lepera seems to be the best for keeping my Lo simple and clean looking without all the clutter of fine details. On the other hand I am not worried about the height of deluxe seat since my bike is getting shotgun atm.
Which way would you go?
Thanx!

Looks sharp. I dig the bars. The one thing I would do is replace that standup license plate holder with something a little more streamlined. I (and a bunch of others) are big fans of the hogrida laydown plate. It's very minimalist and probably the cheapest thing you can do ($25 - 10 minute install), but it's well made and looks great. If you want something that isn't so barebones, kuryakyn makes some that are also popular (but significantly more expensive).

Josewales, I don't have a lot of input on the seat (as mine is still stock), but I was curious what bars those are on your scoot. I think they look great with the line of the bike. Do they have significantly more pullback so that they save your back on those longer rides?
I've been looking into Carlini evil knuckles, but no one seems to have them on theirs so I haven't seen any input.

Also the width is perfect for wider shoulders...

To Smokey TN and Sgt_Jim:
Its you guys that make this site so awesome. Everybody helps everybody. You and your scoots are all awesome and have given me great ideas for my lo. I appreciate the hell out of ya.
I will definitely be laying down the license plate. Want to do so much I think I am going to need a second mortgage!

So I got my bars from Hill Country the other night. I stripped the bike down last night, figured today I would mount the bars and get all the controls mounted, and then over the weekend do all the wire and cable changes...
anyway, when I took the bars out of the large amounts of packaging, I find out they did not knurle them, even though I specifically told them too. I remember because I had them make a true 1 1/4" mounting area bar, so I can use my stock risers... and mentioned, I want the knurling just like stock... Anyway, they are not open now, but what do you all think? Move ahead with some kind of homemade knurling (punch stippling, bench vice creases, emery cloth collars...) or demand they provide the bars we talked about??
