I know this is probably already out there somewhere, but I couldn't find it. I wanting to know if there is a sissy bar for the 2011 Fatboy Lo that does not require a signal light relocate? Also, any sissy bar that you all recommend?

there's something stupid like this:

http://www.kuryakyn.com/Products/772/Plug-N-Play

but what most people do is take the racks and grind the ends off of them to fit around the turn signals, then just hit the exposed metal with some black paint.. ya think that might be something you could do?

I have the HD one piece and cut about 1/4 off the ends. Works great.

I have the quick detach back rest and like others have said I just ground off a 1/4 inch or so from the ends and it fits great with out having to relocate the rear signals.

(which my dad bought for his train when they were a "limited edition pipe" haha).. however, the StraightShots i don't see too many anymore because they were replaced by the BSS's, and they were only sold in Chrome, I never see any Black sets (though Samson sells a black set that looks similar). But $125 for the ceramic coating + $80 for new baffles to me is a better deal than $700+ for a new exhaust system. Oh man i need to sell some blood and semen to fund my HD habit. Not mixed together, of course..
I hear ya on the pipes. I know mine are original. I have the Rush Crossovers but instead of putting the chrome tips on I had the heat shields ceramic coated black with the end of them done in ceramic silver to match the matte chrome on the bike. Haven't seen another set like em yet.

I went with this setup from easy brackets. it was a piece of cake to install.
The signals mount right to the license plate bracket.

here is the webpage:

Jester, would you mind posting some pics of your easy bracket turn signal kit. I looked on the website and it looks pretty good. I like how it would give me more space for larger saddlebags by getting the turn signals completely out of the way. Did you have to do any drilling of the fender to install it? I do almost all of my own work but I have to admit I'm not crazy about drilling something like a fender.

No problem, that's what this forum is about.
Trading ideas and helping each other out. (Hey, that rhymes)

Imagine before the internet. People had to figure all this out by trial and error and alot of $$ in mistakes. lol

Yea that only took me an hour to install, taking my time.
No wires to cut. Just pop them out of the socket and feed them through the holes then push them back in the socket, done!

This forum is the best! Thanks for all the quick responses and photos. I think I will go with the factory sissy bar and grind it down. I need a part time job to cover all the accessories I want to buy!
