Thanks firemedic. Thats exactly what I was looking for. Did you have to replace your cables and wiring? I think I will get those and powdercoat them

Default A couple new mods

I had a productive day putting more money on the bike.It was all pretty straight forward. The part number for the light bar is 68000026. I also added the Memphis Shades Detachable fairing. I still need to find a kit to relocate my turn signals to the light bar or just lower them to a point below the fairing. I have the one that is recommended for the kit but it has those ugly pancake lights. Does anyone have any suggestions?

For rider comfort I added 6" pullback risers to the stock bars. Turns out they look great and the added comfort of sitting up straighter mad a HUGE difference. I just ordered a Corbin Classic Solo seat. Had a Corbin on my Triumph America and loved it. I will follow up with a comfort report once it's installed.

This is the kit to relocate the signals to below the light bar, with the bullet signals, not pancake. 69079-04a (what I have on my bike)

You'll want to double check with HD on fitment with that bar, and they are chrome only so you'll have to PC.

Toledofatboy, did your cables work with the risers? I'm guessing the brake line will be short just from looking at it

Yes, I had to replace all the cables. I used the black braided cables (38875-09a, 38957-09, 41800112, 48920-10). These are the new wave 3 bars from BR's custom bars, Bill is great to deal with and every bar is built to your specs.

Not sure how Toledo did it, but mine stock cables worked... Brake had plenty of room (after you remove a couple of the brackets)... It was the throttle cable that was tight, but it works.

Talking Just Ordered My 2012 Fat Boy Lo!

Wow, I finally did it and traded in my 2010 Fat Boy lo for the new 2012!
I was hesitant about trading it in for a new one, but with all the advances they made since 2010 I really felt I needed them.
Now I have ABS brakes, (EITMS) Engine Idle Temp Management Stragety (shuts down the rear cylinder when at idle at a stop to reduce heat on your legs and overheating, tachometer in the digital dash, and a big new 103 motor!
It took me a few days to take all my upgraded parts off it and bring her back to stock but it is definitely worth it. Now all I have to do is put them back on the new bike.
I lost a little on the trade in, (They gave me $13,700) but I look at it like I leased it for 1-1/2 years then bought a new one, a much better one.
It would have cost me over $2000 for the Screamin Eagle upgrade for the 103 motor and I still wouldn't have ABS brakes or the other upgrades.
I just gotta wait on putting on the Screamin Eagle Pro II slip fit mufflers and K&N filter until V&H come up with the new specs for the FuelPak.
( I already emailed them for it )

Hi Beasleyiv, are you sure on that partN°? The HD P&A website gives an error when I enter that reference.
Thanks in advance for checking!
