We are talkin about different things. I am talking about the giant bolts where the handlebars mount. On each side of it.

Great looking bikes! You guys are WAY ahead of me. I have a little over 200 miles, and am still just riding it. I told my wife that I would ride it for a year before I started modding it, but, I may not be able to wait that long. I am still thinking of options to change. I am undecided about bars, at first wanted apes, now I am leaning towards beach bars. Same with the pipes, V&H, Samson, Thunderheader, just to many good choices. Even the seat, Mustang, C&C, who knows? lol. I guess I will just focus on making it black for now. Sorry, to babble, carry on!

LOL....yeah, I told my wife I'd wait a year before I changed anything too.....the divorce seems to have changed that a bit.

The key is convincing her that these things are all safety or comfort related. I have mine convinced that even comfort stuff is directly linked to safety. I told her, "if I am not comfortable on a long ride, I could cramp up. Getting a cramp at 75 mph on the highway could cause a problem" and the old "loud pipes save lives" thing......

Hmmm.....sounds exactly like the voice inside my head every time I pull out my checkbook for the latest addition.
