Help me out guys....

I can't decide between the Leatherworks 312L or the 312X!!!

I know the only difference is 3" deep or 5" deep but I wonder what they both look like installed.

Any insight?

 

Popular consensus here would be the 5" bag.

 

I just picked up my 2011 Fatboy Lo on Saturday. Like the rest of you, I am already WAY in love with this bike! I reluctantly traded my 2005 Dyna Wideglide (which I loved) but I am SO happy I did!! This bike is begging to be blacked out, so while mine is straight stock for now...my plan is to PC black and/or replace and swap the bars for black 12" apes. On order are V&H big radius 2 into 1, FB bags, detachable smoked shield, and an aftermarket 18" black sissy bar. I wasn't a fan of H-D's sissy bar which has the cross piece for a backrest pad which I will never add. In fact, all of H-D's black parts are gloss or wrinkle, no matte...maybe they'll catch on...

Get the 5" I should of. I bought the 3" and need just a little more room like 2" more. :@)

I'm pretty new to the Lo world myself and I'm already $2,500.00 into this bike because of this thread specifically!!!!!

I love these guys...I think my wife hates em!

I have to give credit to this forum though...They are always willing to help regardless of how stupid the question (trust me I've asked some dumb ****)

 

Another new '11 Lo in Silver!

I've read the whole thread, and I've been looking for anyone who has tried to find a metal plater who can duplicate the satin chrome finish. I'd love to take a bunch of chrome parts and get them finished to match the primary.

For those of you who powder coated their dash console, is there good quality satin finish below the (outer) vivid black console insert? I'm thinking of taking the insert out, but don't want to trash it if the console is not fully finished in satin chrome.

You guys (and gals) have some awesome bikes!
