Dave,
Did you also have to use a mount kit and/or signal re-locater kit? That Sissy bar looks way better than any one HD offers for the FatBoy LO!

No, the signal mounts the lo comes with are fine for those bars.

If you're going to do that, you should get the headlight visor and just paint it before you put it on. Makes the headlight look beefier. They don't make it black yet. They don't make any of the good little parts in black yet!!

Black fingernail polish makes the rear fender strut hardware disappear if you don't want to paint the struts.

And if you can stand the funny looks of the girls in the WalMart makeup department.

My hands aren't steady enough to paint them but my daughter is an expert with the nail polish. She thought it was great fun.

I know JBG! I look on fleabay and all I see is chrome crap. I think this winter I might take all the shiny stuff off and rattle can it. I wonder if they make a flat black nail polish? Maybe I should go to the mall and ask some of the EMO kids walking around hahahhaha. Maybe I'll see some Lo's at Sturgis and get some ideas.

Well guys, I rattle canned the struts and entire front end with the HD flat black. Looks professional and blends right in with the factory paint!

Wow I like that look. You got the paint at the dealership then? What about the bolt heads on the back there?
