Seriously?! I was expecting days from what I have been hearing from others. ****, I'll start workin on it tonight then! The only thing that worries me is that the bars I got are smooth all the way through, there is no knurling where the risers clamp on... What's the likelyhood of them eventually slipping?

EDIT: And why do I keep hijacking this thread? Please ignore me.

I have the Carlini gangster apes and they are smooth all the way through as well. I am using the factory risers and mine do not slip. I would recommend at some point getting the urethane riser bushings if you are doing 16's or taller. Maybe add a bit of time to my total as I already had the exhaust off the bike a few days before I started. If you have all the cables and everything ready it shouldn't take more than about 4 hours. The most time consuming part is soldering the wires. If you are using an extension kit that doesn't require soldering, it really shouldn't take more than 3 hours depending how much beer is involved.

Yea, I've got the poly bushings and the exhaust is still on so I guess I will add time for each one of those.

I did the poly bushings while the bars were on the bike, literally took 20 minutes.

Thanks, that's the one piece black detachable (52729-08) and matching backrest (52631-07)

Quick and easy on/off as needed.

Did you get the tail-light relocation kit? I have heard that if you grind down just a little bit off the sissy-bar near the rear mount point, and touch it up with gloss black, you don't need to move the lights, which I would strongly prefer, not that it's a lot of work, just not crazy about the (looks of the) extra little pieces. I am ordering the same bar and pad. Maybe someone else knows about it. Thx.
