i have 2 dealers that are close to me.. one is about a 40 minute drive.. the other 1.5 hours... I checked with both... they both charge msrp... the difference was the one farthest away, Gainesville HD doesn't charge freight or dealer fees.. so I paid msrp + tax.. plus they got me an awesome deal on financing.
Hey quick question.... I really like the street slammer bars, but don't really like the price. Does anybody know which version of the wild1 bars match the closest to the HD bars? As far as the rise and pullback? Also I know that most people say you only have to change the brake line with the HD bars, is that the same with the wild1 Bars? Thanks in advance for the help.
I called Wild1 on the phone and the owner told me that model WO500 are the closest to the Street Slammers. I put the low profile WO560 on my wife's Fat Boy Lo. They were perfect for her because she had to reach for the stock bars. On the WO560 I replaced the throttle cable with 4 inch over stock. I did not measure the stock front brake line, but I put a 42 inch Goodridge universal line on it with black banjo's. The front caliper has a 45 degree banjo. Goodridge does not make a 45 so I had to use a Russell. The stock clutch cable was plenty long.
Thank you Sgt Jim and Youngneg for the powder coat colors. I did not even think about just asking my powder coater. As they do a lot of Harley stuff. Brain fart I guess.
