i got the drop in kit installed yesterday! so far im happy with it, rides a bit rough but looks badass IMO... i wish i had a shotgun, but as they say, wish in one hand and you know what in the other...
Also, interesting comment from a local shop here in Houston... The guy did awesome work on installing the kit, and when i picked the bike up he said "dude, dont take this the wrong way but, the bike looks badass but its got ZERO *****!" he told me to get rid of the fuelpak and get a PC-V with a dyno. he said he worked for harley and SERT is crapola compared to PC-V... good god, there are some many opinions when it comes to this... WHYYYYYY!!!!!

I also have the PC V on mine, I noticed a difference when I first put it on. I just installed the Samson pipes, rode all day today, throttle is much more responsive and really moves especially compared to stock.

Very nice rquirch! I love seein your bike, looks great!
So I have to toot my own horn a little.... Went out to eat tonight, rode the bike, wife on the back, and I parked next to my friends Merc Marauder (he's pretty much murdered [blacked] the whole thing out except the grill emblem). We parked right by the front door. Well we ate, paid the bill and left and when we reached the car and the bike there was, no lie, 15-20 people standing around looking at both the bike and the car (place was packed, these people were obviously waiting). You'd have thought it was a frickin' car show outside of the Mexican restaurant. And as soon as we walked out to them we had people asking us left and right about both of them. Now remember, I have barely done anything to my bike besides exhaust, timing cover, derby cover, swingarm bag and black 16" apes, but I was just amazed at how much people liked it. Sure, I love it, but I didn't know other people did as well.... The attention may also be due to the fact that I have not seen another Lo, ever, in my area.
Now if I would have any of you others guys bikes... I might not have ever been able to leave the place. You guys have some awesome rides and the ideas you guys are giving me are just killing my wallet, just so you know...

[QUOTE=rquirch;8069523]Wild 1's kit i got for Freeeszzyyy...
150 buckaroos to get installed, i dont have a jack or the tools for that so i paid.
I can't say enough how bad a$$ I think your bike is bro. The lowering kit is pretty sweet, think I am gonna have to lower mine now.
DrWalkinboner.... oh thats why you've managed to stay single this whole time, good to know! lol Love that movie.
On another note. Woke up this morning and went to my dealership that I buy all my parts from, yes they are open Sundays, they kick ***. I bought the polyurethane riser bushings. I have the 18" Carlini Gangster apes. When I first installed these, there was a lot and I mean a lot of travel in the bushings, I am talking half inch to three quarters of an inch when pulling or pushing the bike with the bars. Installed the urethane bushings in bout 30 minutes.... World of difference, the guys with the apes, I really recommend using the bushings. Fairly cheap even from Harley, simple to install and reduces the travel and firms the bar up, but not so much that it is uncomfortable when riding. Just thought I'd throw my two cents in on that subject.
