Calling all FatBoy Lo Owners
Bob, I really like these, they look much better than the kuryakyn cruise arm mark iv's that I have on my lo. However, I wondered whether they would only further limit the lean angle and so I emailed the company (Aeromach) and here's their response:
"We had a customer bring his Fat Boy Lo over and we did not feel comfortable with the Crusin Pegs on that model. It will definitely scrape. The lean angle was reduced by almost 2 inches. I can't recommend them."
What's your experience with them? It's hard to believe that they would result in that much less clearance. For me, any less clearance (let alone 2") would be unacceptable. Have you scraped on cornering and if so, where do you notice the damage... near the rear of the floorboard or is it on the fitting connecting the cruisin pegs?
Thanks!

I don't see how one could scrape them. If you look at the pics they are not any lower than the floorboards, which I have not scraped, and I inspected everything before I bought it and there are no scrape marks on anything.
In regards to weight, the Lo is heavy but nothing I cannot handle, even with my back problems; however, I now have a DS seat so I sit even lower than stock. By the way, if someone is looking for a modified Lo seat (gel & closed cell foam) let me know since I am selling it since again, I like to sit real low.

I constantly scraped the stock boards, so I changed them to eliminate the scraping. All it did was allow me to lean further and scrape the new boards.
If I lean any more, I will probably hit primary and exhaust...
I try to make use of every inch of that 200 rear tire.
I like these since I am able to rest my left heel on the floorboard and the ball of my foot on the highway peg. I could not find any markings so again, I have no idea who makes them; however, they match my other pegs, floorboards and brake pedal so I suspect they are Harley items. Here are a few more pics of them:
Looks like a match.
